Enhance your industrial and machine vision applications with Pleora's iPORT Analog-Pro External Frame Grabbers. Designed to seamlessly integrate analog cameras into GigE Vision networks, these frame grabbers offer a cost-effective solution to preserve investments in existing cameras and optics while converting to fully digital video connectivity. With the Analog-Pro, analog cameras can enjoy the benefits of Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) for both video and remote control, extending their reach over long distances in networked environments.
These external frame grabbers are compact and simple to integrate, allowing for the simultaneous transmission of two channels of composite video at up to 30 frames per second (fps) each with low, predictable latency over a GigE link. The GigE connectivity supports cabling distances of up to 100 meters using standard CAT5e/6 cabling, and with off-the-shelf Ethernet switches, distances can be unlimited.
The connection at the computing platform is a standard GigE port, enabling designers to reduce system size, cost, and power consumption by utilizing smaller form factor computing platforms such as laptops, embedded PCs, and single-board computers. Additionally, the Analog-Pro is supported by Pleora's feature-rich eBUS SDK application tool kit, allowing designers to rapidly prototype and deploy production-ready software to support video transmission over GigE, 10 GigE, and USB 3.0 using the same application programming interface (API).
