The STC-HD93DV, Sentech’s newest color High Definition (HD) digital output camera, has a 1/3" CCD (Charge Coupled Device) Image Sensor, and yields beautiful 720p HDMI ((High-Definition Multimedia Interface) resolution images at a 16x9 imaging ratio at 60 frames per second. This second generation of the STC-HD133 camera, however offers an increased sensitivity (up 3dB), and a decreased power consumption (less than 2.8W versus less than 3.0W for the STC-HD133), and arrives with a smaller chip size of 6.04 (H) x 4.0 (V) mm, versus the older camera’s chip size of 6.26 (H) x 5.01 (V) mm. Ideal qualities for applications where direct-connect monitor viewing with HD resolution is a must, the STC-HD93DV also has the ability to program 28 separate Digital Signal Processing (DSP) profiles, improving both the accuracy and reliability of digital communications. With an on-camera programmable push button, the camera can be controlled manually when the need presents itself. The view angle on the STC-HD93 Series cameras will differ from the STC-HD133 Series cameras depending on the lens.

The STC-HD93 high definition series of cameras are offered in cased or board configurations, and come in DVI (Digital Visual Interface) output, and SDI (Serial digital interface) output. The STC-HD93DV-B has auto and manual white balance, push-to-set white balance, white balance and mirror imaging selectable via the UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) communication.
