SONY FCB HD BLOCK CAMERA ROAD MAP
Sony is soon to release the FCBEV7300 20X and FCBEV7310 20X version of their block camera family. These two new cameras will feature stripped down functionality of the FCBEV7500 30X to provide a reduction in cost and open up these cameras to markets that don’t need the higher functionality of the FCBEV7500 or 30X zoom. These block cameras are intended for security markets, domes and traffic. These FCBEV7310 is a more stripped down version offering 1080p but at a lower cost. First samples of the FCBEV7300 and FCBEV7310 will be available mid summer.
The FCBEV7500 is still the best camera for DRONES, unmanned vehicles (UAVs, UGV), underwater and surface to air vehicles. The FCBEV7500 is still the premium Sony High Definition Block Camera and engineers and designers want to stick with this for higher end applications. This block camera has a robust feature set and is currently the leader in block camera CMOS technology and is fully supported with interface boards and housing through Aegis Electronic Group, Inc.
