The BRC-H700 has built-in autofocus, 48x zoom (12x optical, 4x digital), 1/3-type IT CCD x 3 Image Sensor. With a minimum illumination of 6 lx, it easily sees in dimly lit applications. This RS-232C/RS-422 serial control (VISCA protocol) interface camera has a 7 unit daisy chain capability and has optional HD/SD-SDI high definition video output, and component RGB (Red Green Blue) high definition video output.
The BRC-Z700, with its three HD 1/4 3 CMOS image sensors, like the BRC-300 and BRC-H700 can be ceiling mounted. This camera is able to concurrently maintain HD Y/Pb/Pr analog output, and Y/C and composite in Standard Definition (SD), and comes with a slot for optional cards to adjust to varied situations. It’s minimum of 6lx of necessary light, or just over .56 foot candles (between twilight and total darkness) allow it to record video in most lighting. The BRC-300/300P robotic camera presents the quality of three individual mega pixel CCDs for absolutely brilliant resolution. BRC-Z330 cameras employ three 1/4-type CMOS Image Sensor featuring a resolution of 1,120,000 total pixels, and the same minimum illumination and built-in autofocus as the BRC-H700. This latest addition to the series, the BRC-Z330 compact camera is the smallest model in the series line up, and it’s compact and light body makes installation and operation extremely smooth. The Sony BRC-AD4CHB, a clear environmental dome is a temperature controlled enclosure designed for the Sony BRC-H900, BRC-Z700, BRC-Z330, and BRC-300 cameras. With an optically rich rugged aluminum IP66 housing, it was designed to retain a thermoelectric cooling system, which protects the camera in outdoor environments at ambient temperatures up to 45°C (113°F). This 12.5-inch dome has an unhindered view throughout the camera’s -30 to 90-degree vertical range of motion, protects against nature’s water and dust and will extend the camera’s life, which will safeguard optimum operating conditions, and it easily mounts directly to poles and walls. Its alter-ego is the BRC-AD14THB, the tinted environmental dome with all the same qualities.

The BRC-300/300P optional video cards are the BRBK-301 Composite, Y/C, SD Component (Y/Cb/Cr), RGB, the BRBK-302, SD-SDI and the BRBK-304 i.LINK (DV). Needless to say, these cameras have the type of memory card any project could call for.
Optical multiplex units receive and then convert uncompressed digital raw data into virtually any video output format. There are four impressive units that support this Sony BRC camera series. The BRU-SF10 HD optical multiplex unit (which support single mode optical fibers) along with the BRBK-SF1 HD optical multiplex card permits the BRC-H900 and BRC-Z330 HD cameras to transmit uncompressed digital data without a drop in data, through aCCFC-S200 single-mode fiber-optic cable, for a maximum distance of approximately 6,500 feet. The BRU-H700 optical multiplex unit, which supports multi-mode optical fiber, was designed for the BRC-H700 and the BRC-Z700 color video cameras, and permit external sync, camera control, and audio signals to be transmitted over a single fiber-optic cable length being up to 328 feet, make it possible for the cameras to be placed in almost any location, and with this one-cable configuration, setup is quick and simple. And the BRC-300/300P cameras have the BRU-300/300P optical multiplex unit that supports multi-mode optical fibers.
