With the ability to bring Full HD (High Definition) 1080p60, 900TV lines of video resolution packaged in a small form design (1.77” x 1.96” x 2.16”; 45mm x 50mm x 66.5 mm), this camera showcases a wide 59.4 to 6.2 degree (4.7mm to 47mm) viewing angle. With an amazing 10X optical zoom lens and 12X digital zoom, and Hitachi’s distinctive Signal Digital Processor and responsive 1/2.8-Type (1/3”) CMOS Progressive Scan image sensor, this amazing camera is concise, dedicated and more than effective at its tasks.

Hitachi DI-SC210 has off/on image freeze, mirroring, vertical invert, motion detection, image reversing, frame noise reduction (lowering the amount of video noise in low light), and 16 zone 3-D off/on privacy masking. Its Auto Iris attribute (average offset and peak offset) regulates the iris so that the video output stays at a stable level, even if adjacent illumination level fluctuate.
Finely tuned automatic features set this
block camera apart from the norm; automatic white-out reduction ensures license plates can be read crisply and clearly, without the glare of white head-lights making them unreadable. The automatic defog attribute ensures that even on a foggy day, subjects are captured distinctly, and with its enhanced intensity feature, almost undistinguishable background elements are brought into view with absolute clarity.
And with the DI-SC210’s acute light sensitivity, low light subjects can be captured accurately in as little as 0.5 lux at 50 IRE, resulting in an image that is clear, sharp and well-defined. With its Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) sensor of 110dB, and an added contrast offset, impressive scene details are captured clearly, from shadows to highlights. Its versatile operating temperature of -50° F to -140° F (-10° C to 60° C) allows it to be used in demandingly chilly applications, and consistently produces optimum results. Weighing approximately 6.75 ounces (180g) with a metal case, it is lightweight, and smaller than its team mate, the DI-SC233 chassis camera.
