MCS8MBNDLSE eliminates the need for separate video recording components.

Individual camera essentials for video recording can be cumbersome, dissimilar, and costly.

Technologically advanced Sony has created a way to combine these essential video components in an easy, uncomplicated and cost-effective manner. Introducing the MCS8MBNDLSE (black camera) and the MCS8MBNDLSEW (white camera) bundles, where all the necessary components are incorporated into remarkable packages. These two advanced bundles each consist of a Sony MCS8M Compact Audio Video Mixing Switcher, a Sony SRG300SE desktop and ceiling mount remote PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) Camera (white or black), and Sony’s RMIP10 IP Remote Controller.

Simplification in its purest form: The MCS8MBNDLSE bundle!

The Sony’s newest MCS8M Compact Audio Video Mixing Switcher, comes with a built-in 6 channel audio mixer which includes an audio delay adjustment, an Audio-Video follow feature, and frame synchronizer. Outfitted with a built-in multi-viewer, one monitor is connected by SDI and/or DVI-D to the switcher, and can monitor all input signals, including the program output signal, the preview output signal, and the auxiliary output signal(s).

Its versatility allows for the assessment of choice production needs, where a signal can be selected from either HD or SD mode for processing:

  • HD Mode: 1080i/59.94/50, 720p/59.94/50
  • SD Mode: 480i/59.94, 576i/50

This advanced A/V switcher is equipped with 4 HD-SDI (High Definition-Serial Digital Interface) inputs, 3 HDMI inputs and 1 DVI input in HD (1920 x 1080 DVI resolution) mode. In SD-SDI (Standard Definition- Serial Digital Interface) mode, it has 4 SD-SDI inputs, 3 Composite inputs, and 1 DVI-I input are also available. For outputs, this switcher has 4 HD-SDI outputs and 1 DVI-I output in HD Mode, 2 HD-SDI outputs and the DVI-I output are auxiliary outputs. With its 3channel AUX output, the switcher can be easily integrated into a wide-range of production systems. Users have a choice of 4-screen or 10-screen layouts, and a sub-screen with a red frame will indicates live content.

For live production application, the MCS8M switcher has Frame Memory System, Import Still Image Function via a USB port, input Video Freeze Function for Each Source, Snapshot and Preset Effect Buttons at your fingertips. And with its multi-viewing capability, the screen is split into ten or four windows, showing multiple sources on a single monitor. This allows the user the capability of checking multiple sources on the same monitor at the same time.

Multiple effects are available: Wipe (24 options), Mix, NAM (non-additive mix), Slide (8 options), Squeeze (11 options), Door (3D) (4 options), Frame In / Out (12 options), Flip Tumble (2 options), PinP (Picture-in-Picture), Mosaic, and Defocus only usable for background transitions.

The second component of the MCS8MBNDLSE bundle is the Sony cameras: These Full HD remote PTZ cameras, SRG300SE/W in white and SRG300SE in black, can simultaneously output 3G-SDI and IP H.246 full HD live streaming, via a network port 1 x 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX (RJ45), recording HD Video in 720p, 1080i, or 1080p at up to 59.94. The camera can be controlled using VISCA command protocols over standard IP networks, while its PC control software allows remote adjustment of basic and advanced settings from a simple, intuitive interface, and it can be programmed with up to 16 preset positions, valuable for repetitive events and productions. Notable remote capabilities include pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, and shutter speed control for this high definition camera.

The camera’s sensitive ½.8” Exmor™ CMOS imaging sensor assures outstanding low-light sensitivity. Unique to Sony, the View-DR feature expands dynamic range for clear images, even under harsh backlighting with extremes of light and dark in the same scene – View DR practically doubles the sensitivity, as opposed to conventional Wide-D technologies. With an excellent low-light sensitivity of 1.4 lx and with Sony’s View-DR Wide Dynamic Range Technology, all areas of the images are correctly exposed, resulting in images are better than the naked human eye can perceive; coupled with the camera’s XDNR noise reduction technology, 2D and 3D noise reduction techniques benefit the delivery of clear images in moving objects and still areas of the image. The SRG300SE is equipped with 30x high power optical zoom, a 12x Digital Zoom lens and has 16 preset positions.

This Full HD quality video ability, its smooth, silent PTZ function, and crystal-clear digital sound from its attached microphone equals a stellar audio-video recording. Equipped with an automatic lip-sync feature, distracting mismatches between sound and picture are eliminated. Utilizing its E: Flip image function, moving targets can be followed even when the subject goes directly underneath the camera (flipping the image so it always appears right-side-up).

The camera’s small size (6.25” x 6.50” x 6.50", and weighs 3.1 pounds), paired with its remote operation abilities, allow the SRG300SE to be located where a manually operated camera and operator can’t go. It’s fast, quiet PTZ direct drive motor, and wide 65-degree viewing angle, allows the camera to adapt to swift target movements. The PTZ positioning covers a wide pan/tilt angle range: -170 to +170° degree Pan angle; -20 to +90° degree Tilt angle, and a Pan speed of 1.1° to 100° per second, 0.5° to 60°per second (selectable), and 90° per second tilt speed.

The ideal camera choice for lecture webcasting, medical training and simultaneous recording of conferences, and seminars, it can also be installed permanently for consecutively streamed recordings. The Web Viewing Function on the SRG300SE allows remote control coverage for up to 20 clients, while up to 10 clients can receive video and audio combined streaming.

Completing the amazing MCS8MBNDLSE bundle is the RMIP10 IP Remote Joystick Controller. Designed specifically for the Sony BRC and SRG IP PTZ cameras, it is controlled though an IP network. By means of its flexible configurations, all camera settings, six preset patterns, and the PTZ function can be easily controlled with this optical three-axis joystick. with a tilt of 30° to 30° range. Up to 16 preset camera settings are available, making camera adjustments simple through panel operation. With its easy connection, the RMIP10 links to an IP network with an RJ-45 connector for fast, low-cost installation.

With the RMIP10, up to 5 RM-IP10 control panels can be operated on a single network, allowing shared control and simultaneous multi-operator control of large camera systems. Through the control panel, the installation of up to 112 BRC cameras and up to five RM-IP10 controllers can be configured, depending on application requirements.

The MCS8MBNDLSE (black housed camera) and MCS8MBNDLSEW (white housed camera) bundles are the optimum resource where live production is necessary in houses of worship performance, distance learning, auditoriums and sports events take place. The MCS8M Compact Audio Video Mixing Switcher, SRG300SE full HD PTZ remote camera and the RMIP10 IP Remote Joystick Controller make live video recording effective, effective and crystal clear.
