Wearables …in itself, a funny new sort of word-however it is far more than that … a wearable is a new technology where a hands-free, image capturing device records whatever it sees i.e., a camera that can chronicle footage while being just this side of invisible - you know … video
reinvented.
The
KPC-E23 high-resolution surveillance camera is ripe for the job. With a 1/3” 960H Sony Super HAD (Hole-Accumulation Diode) CCD (charge coupled device) II imaging device (eliminates the grainy effect), a 2:1 interface and the ultra-high clarity of true
700TV Lines of Horizontal Resolution, it is used to capture what may otherwise be unseen. This high quality,
micro square color camera is one of the smallest video cameras available-a necessity for this classification! At a scant 0.88 x 0.9 inches (23 x 22 mm) – less than one inch in size, and weighing just 0.17 pounds (76g), this tiny camera has the ability to be placed in many concealed locations.
Its (Digital) "Day/Night" feature allows for color operation during the day, and B/W operation at night for higher contrast and more sensitivity. Built for low-light environments, this Ultra High Resolution Mini Camera comes with 4 motion detection and privacy masking zones (for areas that need to be concealed). Capturing scenes at night is never a problem-the KPC-E23 camera is able to record with a minimum of 0.15 Lux – about the amount of light available by KPC-E23 moonlight.
Thanks to its lightweight, compact size, wearable camera mounting options are numerous: posing as a button on a shirt, at the top of a zipper, on a utility belt, or a uniform shirt pocket. Wearable cameras have a spot in training, in business, and especially in law enforcement and military. With advanced 2DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) crucial for clearer imaging, ATR (Adaptive Tone Reproduction/Digital WDR [Wide Dynamic Range]), the camera digitally removes (noise) specks on the picture. Its certain, swift shutter speed (1/60 ~ 1/10,000 sec) makes it possible to catch even the most rapid of movements.
With the
KPC-E23, and associated lens options,
KPC-E23UP1, KPC-E23UP3 and
KPC-E23UP4, one has the ability to choose from a board lens model and 3 pinhole lens models. The board lens focal length ranges between 2.45 to 16mm for the KPC-E23; the pinhole lens on the KPC-E23UP1 and KPC-E23UP3 is 3.7 focal length and 4.3 focal length on the KPC-E23UP4. The angel of view for the board lens ranges from 150 to 19 degrees, and 90 degrees for the KPC-E23UP1 and KPC-E23UP3, and 78 degrees for the KPC-E23UP4. Excellent image quality, with discreet and undetectable monitoring -- You can acquire quality security footage from a pinhole lens less than 1/16” across.
Equipped with a Multi-Language (8) built-in On Screen Display (OSD) (inner key/joystick) allows for multiple image adjustments: ATR (Adaptive Tone Reproduction) provides improved overall contrast so that light and dark areas can both be seen in the same image, and additionally has Mirror/ Brightness/ Contrast/Sharpness/HUE/Gain.
This is a tiny,
wearable (spy) camera with large camera features and impressive image quality. So the next time you see someone pointing their shirt at you, it may be the
KPC-E23, not their button that is looking at you!
