Aegis Electronic Group, Inc., is pleased to announce the arrival of Watec’s new WAT-2200P 3G-SDI full high definition low light, professional-level mini broadcast camera. No longer do broadcasting cameras have to be large and bulky with all of the features this little industrial camera has to offer.

This progressive scan,  1/2.8-inch, full HD, 2 Mega Pixel CMOS image sensor camera weighs less than 5 ounces, and is under 2 inches in size. Utilizing its ability to provide low light color images into the 0.1 lux F1.2 range, locations previously too dark to record are now easy to capture for the WAT2200P, giving users clear, crisp images.

Equipped with adaptable 3G-SDI / HD-SDI communications and a fully adjustable OSD (On Screen Display) menu (operated by remote controller / RS-232 compatible), the user is able to set the camera to the proposed location with a few simple steps.  Users are given the ability to optimize and enhance resolution through an uncomplicated 12 option selection, setting the camera to the desired environment making integration into any application simple. Impressive features continue with four types of white balance (ATW, PWB, manual, preset), and 16 areas of privacy masking (RS-232), as well as mirror imaging (off/on, H-FLIP, V-FLIP), on/off back light compensation, and a CS lens mount with adjustable back focus. Easy installation through RS-232C and provided controller, make this camera a necessity for those problem areas where space is an issue. This camera may be small, but it is mighty!

By providing full HD resolutions of 1920 x 1080p 30/29.97/25 and 1920 x 1080i 60/59.94/50 frames per second, the WAT-2200P immediately excels in a variety of surveillance, industrial and broadcasting applications where low-light sensitivity is a must. Its adjustable 2DNR (2 Dimensional Noise Reduction) feature ensures the digital removal of noise from the image by filtering and removing noise from the image even in low light conditions. All in all, Watec's new little high definition camera, offers an affordable solution to users looking for broadcast level video imagery in a durable, versatile and compact size.  Its adaptable, functional design transforms what was previously a large, cumbersome broadcast camera, into this stunning new miniature size and comes with a controller.
