Sentech Introduces New Mini Camera Link, USB3 and GigE Vision Cameras
Three new collections from Sentech, the Mini Camera Link , USB3, and GigE Vision cameras are valued additions to their impressive industrial camera lines.With flexibility in camera designs, and incorporating CMOS technology produced by C-MOSIS high speed, high resolution sensors, these multiple new video interface cameras benefit from Sentech's 25 years of industrial camera development. C-MOSIS cameras give you the option of having the speed of Camera Link, the convenience of GigE Vision, or the simplicity of a USB3 Vision, all at your fingertips. Sentech’s AIA (Automated Imaging Association) vision standard cameras are the perfect choice for diverse applications, and specialized needs.
These new cameras enhance Sentech’s USB3 Vision camera family, and are high-speed, high resolution Global Shutter Mini CMOSIS Camera Link cameras. Of the six Mini Camera Link designs, two are VGA (Video Graphics Array/Adaptor) monochromatic (mono) and color, two are 2M (megapixel) mono and color, and two are 4M mono and color. Being second generation C-MOSIS Camera Link cameras, they are smaller in size, have a lower power consumption, and are easier on the budget.

Sentech C-MOSIS Mini Camera Link, STC-CMB33PCL, VGA Camera[/caption]
The two VGA camera models are the STC-CMB33PCL, VGA mono and the STC-CMC33PCL VAG color styles, and weigh 3.31 ounces (94g). The STC-CMB200PCL mono and the STC-CMC200PCL are both 2M models, while the STC-CMB401PCL mono and STC-CMC401PCL color are 4M cameras, both 2M and 4M weigh 3.6 ounces. Light as a feather, but committed to their task. Perfect as traffic cameras, for meetings and as in-car cameras, these Mini Camera Link CMOS cameras also have the ability to be tripod mounted. Sharing certain characteristics, all have global shuttering, PoCL (Power over Camera Link)/external power supplies and are slightly over 1-1/2 inches square in size, excluding connectors (40 x 40 x 40.5 mm in size, excluding connectors).
The STC-CMC33PCL VGA color camera, and its counterpart, the STC-CMB33PCL (VGA Mono) cameras both have 1/3”VGA CMOS sensors, have a frame rate of 480 fps (frames per second), 642(H) x 484 (V) effective pixels, and have 642 (H) x 484 (V) effective pixels. The 2M monochromatic camera, STC-CMB200PCL has 2048 x 1088 effective pixels, 2/3” 2M CMOS technology, a frame rate of 333fps, just like its color STC-CMC200PCL version. The STC-CMB401PCL (4M Mono) and STC-CMC401PCL, (4M color) cameras have 1” 4M CMOS image sensors, and 2048 (H) x 2048 (V) effective pixels, and capture images at a rate of 180 frames per second.
Eight new progressive scan cameras have now enhanced Sentech’s USB 3.0 vision cameras selections, and all achieve easily accomplish uncomplicated user interface. Image sensors for these CMOS cameras range from 1/3” for the two VGA image sensor cameras, 2/3” for the 2M, 1½ for the 2.4 sensor cameras, and 1” for the 4M sensor models. All cameras have full progressive scanning, with prominent frame rates of, the VGA at 480 fps, the 2M at 150fps, the 2.4M at 145 fps, and the 4M at 80 fps. An outstanding 2/3” 2M progressive scan C-MOSIS sensor is utilized for the 2M cameras, and a 1” sensor for the 4M cameras. High speed 25fps for the 4M models, and an elevated 50 fps for the 2M models, and both 2M are designed for Power over Ethernet and do not need a separate power supply (PoE) or 6 pin Hirose.
