Portability is key with the introduction of
Pleora’s iPORT™ Analog-Pro External Frame Grabber with analog camera owners now benefitting from the speeds of GigE without updating existing hardware. GigE, (Gigabit Ethernet) ratified in 2006 by Pleora and other manufacturers (AIA), makes it possible to transfer video
and control devices over networks that include GigE, 10 GigE. With the iPORT-Analog Pro, analog cameras can be joined with native
GigE Vision cameras that are already in place while GigE supports cabling measurements up to 100 meters using standard CAT5e/6 wiring. Small and easy to incorporate, iPORT-Analog Pro makes it possible to transmit two channels of composite (NTSC, PAL, CCIR or RS-170) video simultaneously running at up to 30 frames per second with low latency over a GigE link.
Military ground vehicles benefit from Pleora’s external frame grabbers where analog cameras already exists. Enhancing performance and simplifying system implementation and maintenance, GigE Vision and Pleora’s iPORT Analog-Pro external frame grabbers extends the life of legacy systems and future-proof design.
iPORT Analog-Pro External Frame Grabbers interact seamlessly with Pleora’s other products in networked or point to point digital video systems. Manufacturing production lines, machine vision, telemedicine and all points of security applications can benefit from the portability of the iPORT. The frame grabbers also comply fully with the GigE Vision and GeniCam™ standards, enabling interoperation with third-party equipment in multi-vendor environments.
An SDK is available for iPORT Analog-Pro with Pleora’s application toolkit eBUS™ that works perfectly with Pleora’s external frame grabbers as well as third-party products compliant with GigE Vision, USB3 Vision and GeniCam.
