The ACE-HDi47 module camera by KT&C, well known for its petite size and ability to fit into most housings, is unquestionably a perfect drone fit.
Small drones, or UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) can fit into the palm of a hand, however, with the
ACE-HDi47, its size does not limit its tasks.

Featuring a 2.43 Megapixel image sensor, this small form camera has a 2.43 Megapixel, 1/2.8″ SONY Exmor Progressive CMOS Image Sensor, with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second. It is well-known that Korea Technology and Communications (KT&C) is a leader in video surveillance technology, and the
ACE-Hdi47 camera solidifies that standing. Lightweight at a scant 0.2 pounds (110 g) including PoE (Power over Ethernet) Active Splitter, and small in size 2 x 1.9 x 1.4 inches (51.5 x 47.5 x 35 mm), it is the ultimate choice when equipping drones for security surveillance. With a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second, and a lens choice of a 3 Megapixel Fixed Board Lens (f=3.7mm), or an optional 8 mm, 1.3 megapixel pinhole lens, uses for this drone camera are endless.
This IP miniature square surveillance camera differs from an analog closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras, in that it can send
and receive data via a computer network and the Internet. And, with its micro SD/SDHC (Secure Digital/Secure Digital High Capacity) memory card, it is able to easily support up to 32GB of information, and can be supported by numerous network protocols. Its digital day/night element feature allows it to be particularly useful in minimal lighting applications down to 0.1 Lux, and it has image settings that include exposure control, privacy masking, image rotation and white balance and 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction).
Featured at the
2015 Drone Expo, the
ACE-Hdi47 miniature square surveillance camera was presented by
David Naranjo of Aegis Electronic Group, where the fine points of this small drone camera were reviewed and demonstrated. With an SD card for limited recording, it is also is IP (Internet protocol) ready, allowing specific non-networked devices to connect to a network system, including HD (High Definition). The camera is also equipped with multiple user access levels and password protection. Drone-worthy small, however its size does not limit its features. With compression, brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, sharpness, white balance, exposure control, the ability to rotate images, text and image overlay, and privacy masking, this camera comes loaded with as many features as some larger cameras.
With the H.264 IP capability, a lower bitrate is delivered, and subsequently, surveillance recording file sizes are decreased. This new compression technology a lower bitrate is delivered, with the surveillance recording file size also reduced, allowing for an increase in transmission rate. Its micro SD/SDHC card support up to 32GigaBytes, and a built-in microphone allows one-way audio streaming at a compression of G.711, G.726, syncing picture and audio for a perfect match. The
ACE-HDi47 has an SD card for limited recording and is IP and HD capable.
Utilizing unmanned mini-aircraft systems (drones), mounted with cameras for aerial photography, the benefits are wide-spread. However, their uses don’t stop there. Camera equipped
drones are utilized by law enforcement agencies and border patrol, journalists and sports photographers, real estate agents and wildlife researchers, and even the utility industry and even farmers employs their expertise. This technological innovation is shaping the way the known and unknown is now being viewed, and the
ACE-HDi47 small form drone camera is ready to efficiently and silently record all it sees.
