Designed with demanding applications in mind, Sony's impressive line of
XC industrial cameras goes above and beyond user expectations due in part to the array of product offerings available to choose from. Already an industry leader when it comes to sensor design, image quality and camera performance, Sony continues to raise the bar by offering users a camera in virtually every popular technology available in order to meet a wide variety of needs. From Gigabit Ethernet (GigE), FireWire, Camera Link, Progressive Scan, Smart Camera modules to the already widely popular line of XC analog cameras, Sony's line of over 70 XC camera models has your application needs covered.
Sony's extensive line of ultra small XC analog cameras offer users increased sensitivity while combining high speed image capturing capabilities with significant shock and vibration resistance in a compact and lightweight design. Available in many different resolutions, sizes and sensor sizes, these monochrome (black and white) cameras are available in EIA or CCIA formats, come with rear panel mode switches and are perfect for times when space is limited but high performance is required. Designed for demanding machine vision applications, high speed assembly line inspection, factory automation, remote monitoring, microscopy, pipe inspection and more.
Sony's line of XCI smart cameras are equipped with enhanced processing power (x86-compatible 1GHz, VIA Eden ULV), built-in Microsoft® Windows® XPe operating system, and a highly capable 512MB of SDRAM memory. They achieve high-speed processing with low power consumption, and also offer high-speed network operation up to 1000Base-T. In addition, these unique cameras are equipped with various interfaces, including: two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet I/F to enable wide band transmission, monitor output, serial interface (RS-232C), trigger input, and exposure output. They also employ Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) as an additional processing device, which enables easy customization for system designers via programmable blocks.
Combining high-quality image processing within the camera, direct data transfer via a network, and the ability to control peripheral devices, these Smart Cameras offer a perfect solution for machine vision applications. They are also an excellent choice for high-end security monitoring of parking lots, shopping centers, and train
stations since they are equipped with several key surveillance features, including: support CS mount lenses, mounted Auto Iris interface, AWB, AGC, and Wide-D images. Sony’s next-generation Smart Cameras are ideal for traffic control, security, pharmaceutical, food and beverage inspection, as well as traditional machine vision
applications.
Sony's line of XCL Camera Link cameras are available in monochrome or color and with their superb resolution and high frame rates, these cameras deliver a level of exceptional picture quality that analog cameras cannot achieve.
Ideally suited for demanding applications in image processing and machine vision, Sony's line of XCL Camera Link cameras offer users exceptional picture quality and a multitude of features enabling these cameras to capture fast moving objects without sacrificing image quality. Available in Power over Camera Link (PoCL) and non-PoCL, these cameras feature a high readout of uncompressed images for smooth, clear results and are available in a range of resolutions (VGA, SXGA, 2.8 MP, 5 MP, 6 MP, 9 MP), frame rates, wavelengths (visible and near ir), and in raw color or monochrome (black and white).
Sony's line of XCG Gigabit Ethernet cameras, also known as GigE cameras, incorporate the GigE Vision® interface enabling cameras to transfer a large amount of data over long distances over just one single ethernet cable. With models available in VGA, SXGA, UXGA, 2MP, 2.5MP and 5MP resolutions, these highly sensitive industrial cameras are available in raw color or monochrome (black and white) versions and are equipped with an array of features that any long distance, demanding application will benefit from. Sony's GigE cameras are ideal for Intelligent Traffic, Machine Vision, Factory Automation, Inspection and other industrial type applications.
Sony's line of XCD FireWire B cameras (IEEE1394b), are light weight, high performance and so small that they are perfect for those space restricted applications where millimeters count. With a number of resolutions (VGA, SXGA, UXGA) and frame rates (15-90 frames per second) to choose from, these progressive scan industrial cameras are available in raw color or monochrome (black and white) versions, making selecting the right camera for your machine vision applications easy. Ideally suited for machine vision, inspection and microscopy applications.
Sony's extensive line of XC progressive scan CCD cameras offer users increased sensitivity while combining high resolution and high speed image capturing capabilities in a compact and lightweight design. Available in many different resolutions, sizes and sensor sizes, these monochrome (black and white) cameras are available in EIA or CCIA formats and are perfect for times when space is limited but high performance is required. Designed for demanding machine vision, high speed assembly line inspection, remote monitoring, microscopy applications and more.
