STC-HD203DV Supports Full HD Video
STC-HD203DV, fresh from Sentech America, has just arrived as their premier CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) High Definition (HD) resolution digital output cased camera. With rolling shutter imaging, this progressive scan camera is a HD-DVI (Digital Visual Interface) direct connect to monitor output by means of HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface). Together with a 1/2.8" 230 Mega pixel CMOS (SONY: IMX136) imaging sensor, accurate HD 1080p, 16x9 imaging at 60 frames per second is the flawless result. With the ability to program 28 individual DSP (Digital Signal Processing) profiles, the STC-HD203DV progressive scan camera has a programmable on-camera push-button for manual operation, and 8 user preset picture modes. This new color STC-HD203DV camera is precisely the answer for applications that demand direct-connect monitor viewing with High Definition video resolution.
Small, but Mighty!
It’s especially trim size 1.6” (W) x 1.6” (H) x 2” (D) (40 x 40 x 51.1 mm), excluding the connector, and weighing a touch over 4.1 ounces (116g) makes for a cost-effective, tiny HD CMOS camera. Able to operate quite well in a low illumination of 0.6 Lux (AGC On) at F1.2, it can ‘see’ its subject in relative darkness.

With its C mount lens mount and aluminum housing, the STC-HD203DV also has Automatic Level Control (ALC), managing dynamic lighting conditions. This sophisticated auto-exposure function automatically calculates the exposure values and controls the aperture value and shutter speed.
Packed with features, the STC-HD203DV has multiple white balance choices: auto white balance / manual white balance / and push to set white balance. There is also selectable white balance by means of the UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter), the programming microchip that controls a computer's interface to its attached serial devices. Its Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) is OFF/ON, and defaults at OFF. The WDR is enabled through the UART communication.
Mirror imaging is normal, horizontal flip and vertical flip, as well as horizontal vertical flip (180° rotation) with the shading level adjustment also through the UART communication. The STC-HD203DV digital output camera, besides having its 8 user preset picture modes, also has selectable normal picture mode or pseudo color modes. The selectable picture mode is also through the UART communication. On the back of the
STC-HD203DV, lives a 3.5 mm stereo jack used for controlling the camera via UART protocol, and 12V power input barrel jack. Able to work where there is vibration, the
STC-HD203DV has an operating temperature of 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C).
The Sentech STC-HD203DV C-Mount cased camera comes with an HD-DVI output, PWR-DC12-500R DC power supply with jack connector, a 9.8 inch HDMI cable and Sentech’s limited 2-Year warranty.
