Recognized by the United States Government as an International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) registered manufacturer/exporter, Aegis maintains an increasing level of business in the Military and Aerospace markets. Their military industrial camera inventory and application commitments encompass not only autonomous intelligence systems, robotic vehicles (including unmanned ground, air, and sea vehicles), robotics and automation, but also additional advanced technology. Military cameras are characteristically intended for small, space-restricted areas, and must include multiple features, high resolution/high definition capability and all peripheral equipment for a completely integrated system.
Aegis is specifically aware of the role these industrial cameras play in the ways unmanned vehicles perform, allowing the operators the ability to capture and stream large format, multi megapixel images and data to a command station on the ground or wherever the command station is. The combination of cameras can be combined within gimbal systems and other types of assemblies mounted to the unmanned vehicle. Through this, different images in distinct lighting conditions and can give operators a full 180 degrees of standard or high definition images to work with. Daylight cameras take crisp, clear images; infrared cameras can capture images taken at night.
