TRU-Vu monitors are all-encompassing, and provide the ideal monitor for each application. These customizable, industrial grade component LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitors offer long-term performance, and 24/7/365 operation – thanks to their high-quality LCD panels and ABS or powder coated steel housing. Regular retail/consumer grade monitors are designed for desktop use for 6 to 8 hours per day, and are unable to operate for longer periods.
TRU-Vu monitors are available in an assortment of styles, sizes and configurations. Customization of these monitors is readily available, from size and performance to the ability to be private-labeled with the company’s name, logo and model number-impossible from a run-of-the-mill retail grade monitor.
Customizing options include, but certainly are not limited to:
• HOUSING: ABS is standard in 5.5" - 19" sizes. Rugged metal enclosures are standard in several larger sizes.
• OPEN FRAME: All sizes are available in Open Frame configurations. Custom brackets can be created and supplied upon request.
• WATERPROOF ENCLOSURES: Various types of NEMA 4 and IP-rated enclosures to withstand nearly any type of environment.
• PANEL MOUNT: Available in indoor or outdoor configurations.
• RACK MOUNT: Compatible with EIA 19" rack to fit 5"-20" sizes. Single, Dual 7", or Triple 5" display configurations are available.
• COLORS: Custom molded colors in plastic enclosures or custom painted colors are available in all sizes.
Face Treatment options:
• GLASS PANEL: A pane of glass placed in front of the LCD screen for protection. This glass has an Anti-Reflection (A/R) coating on both sides to minimize glare while enhancing the image quality. Available on 5"-32" sizes.
• TOUCH SCREEN: Available in 5-Wire Resistive, Capacitive, SAW, Projected Capacitive, and IR technologies, and are available on 4.3"-42" sizes.
• OPTICAL BONDING: Great for bright light and reflected light environments. An optical-grade resin is injected into the area between the LCD panel and the outer glass. This eliminates the air gap, thereby eliminating the internal reflections which wash-out the images outdoors with standard monitors. Available in 8.4"-20" sizes.
• SUNLIGHT READABLE/ HIGH-BRIGHT: Increased LED backlighting to achieve 1,000 nits and higher brightness. Available in 7.0" to 55" screen sizes. Ideal for situations with bright sunlight directly on the face of the monitor.

TRU-Vu monitors apart from the norm. Open-Frame Monitors range from 8.4 inch to 46 inches in size, and can be easily incorporated into panels, machines or kiosks. The 4:3 ratio monitors have screens from 3.5 inches to 20 inches, and are the ultimate monitor for legacy systems, matching 4:3 analog cameras. With VGA, S-Video, BNC, RCA and DVI inputs, they range from 12VDC to 24VDC or 90-240VAC models. Wider viewing angels (up to 178º x178º) permit users to clearly see images from any angle.
These industrial-grade monitors have standard to Full High Definition (FHD) resolution, a variety of video inputs and VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) mounting-hole patterns for complete integration.
The medical-grade LCD monitor collection includes 8.4 inches, 17inches, 19 inches, 22 inches, and a 22 inch touch-screen monitor. Because these monitors conform to UL 60601-1, they are the precise choice for operating room, patient monitoring and medical diagnostic equipment.
