    Optical electron and scanning probe microscopy is a technical field using microscopic devices to view samples and objects that cannot be seen with the naked eye.  Paired with high-quality Camera Link cameras with both full and single mode, the iPORT™ CL-Ten interface board can be designed into multi-speed systems alongside GigE Vision cameras operating at 1 Gb/s, with no software modifications. A sophisticated on-board programmable logic controller (PLC) allows users to precisely measure, synchronize, trigger, and control the operation of other vision system elements. The CL-Ten Full and CL-Ten – Dual Medium interface are ideal for environments where distance and electromagnetic noise are a challenge.

Inspection Applications

    While being manufactured, all electronics, furniture, and even the clothes on our backs, requires inspection.  Every nut and bolt in the world is manufactured being passed on conveyors and must be cut precisely for exact measurements.  Technical and industrial metrology, which is the science of measurement, is utilized to maintain specifications required when manufacturing.  Pleora’s iPORT™ CL-Ten external frame grabbers allows users to easily transport images via GigE vision 2.0 connectivity to software or hardware.  CL-Ten is compatible with industry-standard copper or fiber-based links via an SFP+ (small form-factor pluggable) connector, and can be easily connected to off-the-shelf 10 GigE components such as network cards and switches.
