Basler stands behind its product with the industry's first 3-year warranty for industrial cameras.  Basler manufactures all of its cameras at the company's headquarters in Ahrensburg, Germany where every camera is subjected to very specific optical and mechanical tests before leaving the factory.  Basler's confidence in their process and product has led them to extend the warranty period to 3 years.

The Basler Ace series  is designed to tackle the analog market while meeting the demands made on  modern digital industrial cameras.    The Ace series of Basler cameras are designed for industrial, medical, and traffic applications; and have undercut the cost of an analog camera by combining Gigabit Ethernet interface technology with the small 29 x 29 mm footprint.  These cameras are an ideal replacement for all existing analog cameras and for IEEE 1394a and 1394b cameras.
