Pleora's iPORT™ CL-GigEB-IND External Frame Grabbers redefine industrial vision by seamlessly integrating Camera Link Base configuration cameras into GigE Vision systems. Operating in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +60°C, these frame grabbers offer a transformative solution for diverse applications.
With these external frame grabbers, Camera Link cameras can enjoy the advantages of Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) in terms of long-distance cabling, computing platform support, and networking. The CL-GigEB-IND converts video data from Camera Link cameras to packets and transmits it over GigE with low, predictable latency. Cabling distances can be up to 100 meters using standard CAT5e/6 cabling, and unlimited with off-the-shelf Ethernet switches.
The connection at the computing platform is a standard GigE port, allowing designers to reduce system size, cost, and power consumption by using smaller form factor computing platforms such as laptops, embedded PCs, and single-board computers.
The iPORT CL-GigEB-IND is supported by Pleora’s feature-rich eBUS™ SDK application toolkit, facilitating rapid prototyping and deployment of production-ready software. Designers can support video transmission over GigE, 10 GigE, and USB 3.0 using the same application programming interface (API).
The frame grabbers boast features such as low latency transmission, an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, and Power over Camera Link (PoCL). The compact design, coupled with low power consumption, allows integration into various computing platforms. The IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol capabilities enable precise control, trigger, and synchronization of equipment and multiple cameras, while the GPIO minimizes the effects of electrical noise.
Incorporating a programmable logic controller (PLC), users can precisely measure, synchronize, trigger, and control other vision system elements. The iPORT CL-GigEB-IND also supports GenICam integration, making it fast and easy to create a user-friendly GenICam interface.
Elevate your industrial vision with Pleora's iPORT CL-GigEB-IND External Frame Grabbers, unlocking new possibilities for applications such as industrial automation, quality control, robotics, medical imaging, and more. Experience the future of machine vision with advanced connectivity, enhanced performance, and seamless integration.
