SONY to present new FireWire Micro Camera, XCD-MV6 at Automate 2011
In a recent announcement, SONY Electronics will be showing off their new miniature FireWire digital video camera at Automate 2011 being held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL March 21-24, 2011.
Measuring 29 x 29 x 19 mm (1 3/16 x 1 3/16 x 3/4 inches) and weighing only 37 grams, Sony's new monochrome XCD-MV6 is progressive scan and incorporates a 1/3-type wide VGA global shutter CMOS sensor and is one of the smallest 1394.b cameras available on the market.
